Have ordered a new rib

Have been ribbing on and off for four years now, mainly in older ribs to get a feel for it and an idea of exactly what i want. I decided in early May to go for a Humber Ocean Pro 6.3mtr with a 150 Evenrude, and ordered one. Can anyone advise me on the insurance, who is doing the best deals these days (pleasure cruising)?.

Hi

Try Colin (not anyone else) at Giles & Gower 01245 329484 he gave me a great quote on a Zodiac.
Say Marcus said to give him a whirl.

Thanks for the contact. The best i had was £410, incl all watersports. Porthcawl Insurance have come in at £325 for the same and upto 25 miles off shore.

Thanks

rib insurance

with out any doubt the best in the industry is Porthcawl insurance, they cover up to 25 miles off shore, (MARDENS WHERE THE WORST, THEY DONT EVEN COVER RIBS UNDER 5 MTS,)

re mardons

Totally disagree

Mardons cover my avon 400 for around £215 with waterski cover to a £1mill

but then i have never had to claim which is when you sort out the good from the bad

cheapest isnt always the best

need a direct line for the marine industry

would recommend Porthcawl - found them to be cheaper than Mardons but dont know how they stack up against others on price. Steve (I think) has a decent knowledge of ribs and was v helpful in putting together the right level of cover...
