I think that there is another reason they charge the price. If it were free or at a reduced rate of say £2 for an hours stay then the traffic in to and out of the Marina increases significantly, thus making it more difficult to manage at times. When we used to roll up there years ago we were often rafting, even though they have lots of pontoon space.
