Yep, that's her. Used to belong to Andy Badviz on here, he sold her to me, I sold her to Tim, and looks like she's up for sale again.

Really regret letting her go - I loved that boat.

Very interesting. It's almost a year to the day when they bought her off me. It was two jet-skiers from up North that bought her - didn't have a clue. So much so I'm quite relieved to see that shes still in one piece! As Jimbo says she was a great boat.

I remember looking at Jimbos advert on B&O for Greyhound when I was thinking of buying a boat at the end of 2006. I think I may have even phoned but it had just been sold (presumably to Tim m)

Deffinately, the seat back is much stronger than the A frame

Yep - managed to sell the Yamaha to a chappie in Scotland who ran an outboard shop - spares or repair. Shame, as it was a much better match than the Mercury currently on it.

Anyone surprised it didn't get a bid at the start price? I'd have thought it was OK value although he did knock a few years off the age of the boat and it's sadly acquiring that 'owned by Heath Robinson' look about it.
I think that bracing rope to the seat is actually baling twine!

Having owned a 115 merc I know they can be thirsty brutes! I did think about making an offer on this so would appreciate any insight/thoughts in case he lists again at a lower start - like 5,000.

Also should anyone be interested in a 6.5 this looks like terrific bang for the buck:

A few points:
-Andy will tell you the exact age.
-That CD player isn't waterproof (and the wiring for the speakers looks crap).
-The battery has been moved from its relatively waterproof position in the console to behind the transom by the new owner.
-The trailer was usable when I had - it had a bit of surface rust here and there. I very much doubt it has been maintained by the new owner.
-The overall cover (if it is the original one) is pretty old and could really do with replacing (no excuses there - it was given away free with the boat with this in mind).

Behind the transom? I think waterproofing might be an issue!

Now Now John, we know what Tim meant! I personally don't like batteries at the transom - as John pointed out waterproofing is an issue f(orward or aft of the transom.) If there's significant water build up in the boat and you accelerate it out the trunk it can easly go out over the transom too swamping batteries etc.

Thanks for the notes Tim. The seller claimed the CD is waterproof 'cos I didn't think so and asked. Ditto the speakers would be drowned or mashed. Maybe not a bad thing as I personally don't hold with blasting music at other water users. I really asked to see what the seller was like - a snow job on the small stuff.....

The boat has been relisted at 5,500 but still looks expensive as it's obviously not had the TLC it got while owned on here, engine hours are probably quite serious and at 1992 those tubes have got to be nearing the end of their useable life, ditto the trailer.

Someone got a bargain on the 6.5 Northcraft - 7k with less than 200 hours on it. I had an effort to resist it as it was just too big for my slip!
