Greek Rib Championship 1st Race in Rhodes
The Greek Rib Championship starts this weekend…

First race is in Rhodes Island (3 & 4 May 2009) organized by the Rhodian Rib Club R.O.TA. www.rota-ribclub.com

This is the first out of 5 racing weekends in venues around Greece.

Good event for Technohull,

winners in the 200 and 300hp classes and a second in the twin engine class. Will post some photos soon.

A few Technohull photos from the race:

- Stamatis winning the 200hp class in a 688 model
- The new 888 winning in her first race
- The second placed 999 having performed really well and finishing a couple of seconds behind the winner

we had a very good race and many very quick competitors but Adam Younger Design won the Race in each class!

Really good year for the Technohulls - and well done Stamatis - hopefully one place higher next year!

Will definitley try to get out to one of the rounds in 2010.

No - unfortunately I cannot make it this year - too much work on and a few deadlines to make.

I'm going to Athens around mid November though - hopefully testing an 888 and talking boats! Will try to sort out my flights / dates etc this week.
