Good places to launch Rib ?

Hi
mostly use slipways in north Wales Conwy beacons or on the mania straights, but can anybody suggest suitable slipways around Liverpool area up to Fleetwood use Easy tide for looking but does not say what slipway is like, it states there is one at Preston any body used it ?
Many Thanks Stuart
using Humber 5.5 rib

Slipways around Preston

Hi.
Preston 'slipway' is at Preston Marina which has no slipway, you have to be hoisted in which costs best part of £60. Tide effects you alot so you can only get out of Preston Marina 1.5 hours either side of high tide.
Lytham has a reasonable slip if you have a 4x4 or are brave.
It is not the best area for boating from Southport right the way up to Fleetwood since it is pretty dull with few intersting ports/pubs to visit.

Hi Stul

I usually launch at Knott End accross the river from Fleetwood, it is £8 for the day or £50 + vat for the year, year starts April.
You can find all the details on Boatlaunch.
