The Go-Pro should be here tomorrow Found a good looking Clamp here.
Manfrotto 035 Super Clamp (MN035) - Wex Photographic

Looks impressive and a good price, needed a small adapter to fit to the go-pro according to the nice lady i dealt with. Should be able to clamp to A-frame or console handholds.
I will post my efforts when i get it all sorted.

I've had some manfrotto gear before it won't last like the ram mounts as they are marine grade SS buy cheap buy twice

My nephew has a few setups he uses when we go out on our boats, he has put a GoPro sticky pad on top of the engine cowl and it's still in place after a full season of boating, he also has a telescopic pole (washing line prop) that he attaches the GoPro onto that gives different viewing options
