Glue on tubes

Not long got back from picking up the searider. Southport to Portsmouth and back in one day was a killer!!
Anyway, rib seems OK, few light scratches on the hull from what I can see. Engine ran great on the muffs. Tubes are OK too except it looks like it had the spray hood (?) and there is an out line of old glue where it used to be. Any advice for getting this off?

As a follow on from that thread, I do now wonder if acetone might have done the job - I didn't try it at the time. That stuff worked wonders though.

So that sticker removing stuff was ok on the tubes then Tim?
