Ok it's official -January is wettest in the South in 100 years. Today Extra Tropical Storm Bridget will pound us throughout the weekend. Anymore of this and a road trailer will be a superfluous item.

I will be going to Yarmouth however - with the bikes and will ride to the Red Lion where I know a landlord who is a sympathetic listener. I will bend his ear on the state of the nation with particular reference to the weather!!
