Nah! It's all smoke and mirrors. Since when did our God fearing Chancel.... er! Prime Minister ever turn his back on an opportunity to increase tax, especially if he sees someone enjoying themselves? Any squeek out of us and he'll play the 'Green' card with a sanctimonious leer.

how very true, his Scottish home over looks the Forth. In fact I recon he could just about see the fuel dock in the marina from his house. Remind me when I am next out to not look like I am having any fun to avoid the “fun tax”

I know the worst. Port Hamble were charging £1.19/ltr at the weekend. I think this is a complete ripoff so use Gerry Cans and pay 91.9p/ltr. I don't mind paying an extra 10% for the convenience but 27p/ltr is taking the mick.

Would it be possible to start a section which quotes current fuel prices which can be updated?

Neil

Not the Solent but I paid £1.29 in Mylor and £ 1.35 in Salcombe last month
