It is interesting how everybody complains about fuel prices yet I have not noticed anyone moaning about launch fees. With fuel you are buying a product so clearly has a cost yet an idle piece of sloping concrete which was paid for years ago has no annual cost but you still have to pay £15-£20 which is far more than the fuel price difference between forecourt and marina prices. I probably use more fuel than most people and overall it is quite a low/acceptable part of the overall cost of boating so I just put up and pay up
Hmmm well based on my maths that fuel cost me an additional £35 for 50 odd litres compared to the forecourt so I could have launched twice at one of your slipways
