My family and I have been to Cornwall camping for the past 5+ years. I have had the RIB for two years, and would love to take it down and enjoy the area.
Not sure where is best?
We have travelled around Cornwall, usually staying on north coast, and enjoying body boarding with the children. Usually land up admiring the skills of the local RNLI guys on all RIBS from "A" Class up.
The camp site in Fowey sounds great but wouldn't trust my family saloon to make it up the hill and back down (judging by the notes).
Does anybody know of a camp site/cottage with access to a good slip in the area? Have looked around Falmouth (as walked around River Fal quite often) but havn't found anything yet on the net.
Any advice/leads on possible places to stay?
Heres hoping!!
Thanks in advance,
Gerry

Gerry you can pay to launch at Penmarlam and keep the Rib afloat for the week, alternatively Pentewan Sands campsite is on the beach and has boat launching facilities (i think you have to pay them to do it) I'm sure their website will tell you.

The Pentewan tractor launch is a total faff IMV.

Either Penmarlem or Falmouth are the way to go. I can do you a deal on 2 acres of grass to yourself, a loo and a shower in the North Helford area.

Its a bit of a plug I know, the reason being we advertise a let on there. Thought I'd at least be honest about it!
