Fortwilliam corpach slipway

Hi, does anyone have any information about the slipway at corpach near Fortwilliam? Does it exist? Is is useable and open to the public?

Up until last month there was about 40m of waste ground beside the slip that you could launch from any state of tide, but it's been blocked off now with rubble.

Is it Loch Eil you are looking at ? if so The outward bound Trust might be able to help. Might be worth a call :thumbup:

Thanks for the info. Doing the caladonia canal 1 way finishing in corpach looking to slip out my 5m rib out. I find that the boat launch website often out of date although it does list the slipway at the corran ferry is ok as long as you are quick! Maybe better to blast the extra 15miles or so down there??

Someone call?

The slip at Corpach is now clear, it is actually owned by The Corpach Small Boat Owners Assoc, they have a locked gate across the top of the slip but its usually open. Tbh it doesn't matter whether its locked or not as you can launch/recover down the side of it. Infact its easier. Just make sure there is plenty of water.

A1an, when did they clear it?
I was up there 7 weeks ago and launched at the side, was up there again about 2 weeks ago when the SSDT was on and the side launching bit was all blocked off with rubble.

has it? I wasn't aware.

Il not go in to details but there is a touch of "local politics" going on down there and its obviously reared its head again. I was down a month ago and everything was good.

Il be passing tomorrow so il take a looksie.
