Force on the transom

I've been thinking of getting an A frame made (at a lower cost of buying one, looks like they have a big mark up) but having one made that would replace the transom support bars.
The only thing concerning me is if I ever sell the boat and the next owner uses the A frame to pull things. Would the A frame then act as leverage to pull the bolts out of the hull and transom (The most force would be on the deck fitting if the frame was being pulled back).
Also anyone any idea what kind of force the transom pulls on those bars on a 4m searider/50hp?

You can get a new one on ebay for around £200. I doubt that you'll get one made for less than that.

Caveat emptor (let the buyer beware)
Do Avon stipulate on their own A frames that they are not to be used for towing?

The force would be pushing against the support bars when the boat is in forward gear.

PS
When I read the title to this thread, I thought you were considering fitting a Force outboard

Hi DH mate,
I've seen the ones on ebay and even at those prices I can still save a bit getting a local TM to do it. I've seen his work on Bikes, 4X4's and farming rigs so I know there wont be any pigeon poo weld

Good
Will it be stainless, or painted/powder coated/galvanised mild steel?

Got a price for stainless which looks good but I don't know if powered coated would be more practical?
Unless a S/H one comes up very soon I'm gonna take her in for the exact measurements.
