Sorry Brian, working with rescue helios a lot I forgot that not everyone knows what we call them.
Each aircraft have two radio callsigns based on either it's registration letters or it's allocated number. So Mike Uniform's, as a Bristows aircraft on lease to the MCA uses "Coastguard Mike Uniform" when training and "Rescue Mike Uniform" when tasked. The next SAR aircraft south of it is an RN Seaking based at HMS Gannet at Prestwick. It's callsigns are "Navy 177" or "Rescue 177".
So endeth your item of useless information for the day, my apologies again.

I think its India Juliet , a SN61
A friend used to fly it for Bristows

However recomend you stick to the normal practise and let them call you.

Went on a visit to RNAS Culdrose in Cornwall for a look around some years ago, nice chaps with the Sea King Ace of Clubs (I think, maybe spades, no thats a song!).
