Approx 1 week ago Peggy Newman who used to run the Old Ship Inn and the Dog House, with Jim Newman passed away. She was the most generous and friendly person we have every known and a well known character in local boating. Fortunately we got to speak with her on Xmas day.
She is survived by Jim.

yes i heard Peggy had gone, she was a good old girl, she used to wrap up my breakfasts and bring them over to me when i worked in the boatyard
