Folly Inn

Hi

I'm off to the Folly this weekend - do you know whether you have to book a mooring or is it easy just to tie up on the pontoon?

Thanks

Nigel

you can usually turn up, I am not sure if they take bookings. But, you would be best to book the restaurant!

You will be fine just turning up assuming you are in a rib. They tend to get you to moor up at the end of the pontoon where the Taxi service drops off. Cracking pub, food is fantastic might be best to book a table as they are usually packed

Don't forget that Saturday is the Round the Island Race. About 1800 boats all told. This may mean that the Medina is a little less full Saturday lunchtime but Cowes will be v busy from mid Sat afternoon thru Sunday.

sometimes when the pontoon is busy they put all the ribs on a buoy and the water taxi takes you to the main pontoon.
The food is always excellent, quick and reasonable, but like you've been told before i'd say it would be better to book.
have a good time!

Soon gets busy and can be rafted four or five boats deep.

go straight for the bouy just to the north of the pontoon - avoids the rafting up...
