Awww bless! Sorry to disappoint, but it wasn’t me, I haven’t been out there yet this year. You must be getting confused, again. However it was very considerate of you not to go & spoil some other poor blokes holiday. I’m out there again in October, I can let you know the dates & flight numbers if you like. We could meet up for a drink in the airport & you can introduce me to your carer missus.

You know Dave everyone has the right to be an idiot occasionally but try not to abuse the privilege

Back on topic. I am now considering making one, possibly a tubular stainless frame.

Anyone have an idea on what wall thickness to make legs and seat base. I was intending to keep the stainless less than 20mm dia

This is purely my opinion. I wouldn’t put my kids on a suicide seat of any shape or form, proprietary or otherwise, if the boat is underway. If the boat is stationary, they probably won’t want to sit on it anyway.

That's the way I'd see it too..." Suicide" is the clue

Seascrew for stainless tube plus you can buy bends to suit weld or grub screw. A well forward suicide seat is a pain to sit on unless flat calm but your console is well back as PD said you have to pick the right conditions for the kids and good padding OMO

It’s set up for speed. As some may understand like urself Jeff. My forward part of console is probably more aft than most driver seats. But I hear the concerns.

If it gets rough they are in the suspension bucket seats on our laps. Despite being tweens.

👍the only offering i would add is that a factory built seat would look far better on such i nice boat plus a great fishing sightseeing seat and at least you can see the kids before they come to harm
