Flotation Suits

Hi all - I saw these today, anyone got a view on them ? Tried them ?

Even thought they are in the US I can get some picked up for me by a friend. They seem quite good.

is it better than any £225 suit available in the UK? Suits are quite possible to get here for a lot less than that - so assume that it must be "high end"

I've got one of these, paid about £250 for it. very comfortable & warm but not totally waterproof in the rough stuff. Nothing beats a drysuit for that.

Have had a Mullion suit that was bril...so good m'burglar took it with him when he went thru m'garage! b@st@rd!
I think they were Mainstream that we had after that-which were cr@p - rain went straight thru. Got a batch of Fladen suits now & they are fine. Better for sitting in all day winter cod fishing than coping with the neck seal on a drysuit but they obviously aint immersion proof.
Whatever they say I don't think any are truly breathable though. As soon as you put a layer of foam inside the fabric it sorta defeats that principle. So it can get a bit damp inside one.
We have bought ours at "Gerry's of Morecambe"-mail order angling gear as he always had good offers on when we wanted suits so might be worth looking on t'internet though I haven't looked for quite a while.

It'll come in handy when you're laid under the Nissan, no point in spending a fortune
