KY Your lovely boat don't need no stinking flocoat just yet unless the decks are very scruffy, It's not a paint as such and I don't think its particularly adhesive. What are you going to paint on your boat

JSP My usual compliments of TYpos afyer is actualy after. Transome is the bit wot the motor bolts on to and myloc is a new type of self locking nut I'd better invent, now that your's looking to buy one . Save yourself some money go to the pound shop by some 2 part epoxy and some cheap artist brushes and paint the inside of the hole and the drill exit points with the epoxy, Save yourself even more money and go to the 99p shop. Epiglas is much more liquified epoxy varnish but you'll get the same job done........ dont get the paint brush stuck in the hole! Why ever did I say that to you

Dear Stuart,
I have the uppermost respect for your knowledge. I shall go fourth to yonder pound shop (don't have 99p shops, there's a recession ya know!) and do that!
The Afyer self locking nuts seem just what I need to curb my baby making. Do I need to shave?

Cheers matey

Thanks RW - glad to hear I don't need it - I was going to paint the deck - not because it really needs it - just thought it would look a bit neater - and we are rebuilding the anchor box so will paint that at the same time

Yours KY

If you can't get an afyer myloc nut a couple of tie wraps should curb it. Don't get your razors in the pound shop!

Sikaflex for the holes - If you want to treat the wood first use G4.
