Flatacraft Force 3 GT Weight

Hi Everyone,

I've just bought a Flatacraft Force 3 GT with a 40HP 2 Stroke mariner on it.
It does about 24 KTS flat out and is soooo much fun that I want to take it everywhere I go with my bigger boat. The problem is that I don't want to tow it everywhere. I was contemplating fitting Davits and hanging it from the transom as this Flatacraft already has 4 lifting eyes installed.

Can anyone tell me what this would weigh? (Boat & Outboard, tank removed)

I hope you guys are having as much fun on the water as I am!

Regards

Paul

Force 3?! Are you sure it's not a Force 4?

I reckon a Force 3 GT with a 40 on should be good for a bit more than 24 knots

Nasher probably has the spec, if not I can look it up when I'm back in the office but that won't be for a couple of weeks.

That's why I think it might be a Force 4. It'd be a rocket ship with 40hp on a F3.

Hmmmm

Hmmmm - not sure. Its 11ft long with 4 seats, 2 forward facing 2 backwards.

Clocked it with GPS. Seems VERY fast but was 24 KTS on GPS.

Raced it with my Bayliner 2755 too and they are pretty even but the bayliner needs a tune up. Doing that tomorrow

I could do with the weight soon if anyone can help, sorry to be pushy but I desperately need to get it on davits as the mooring fees are building up

It should be a LOT faster than 24 knots.

Unless someone's got the weight of the motor to hand, it's probably a better idea to run it over a public weighbridge and knock some off for the weight of the trailer.

The Motor's not the problem, I can look that up.

Do you know the weight of the boat then, roughly?

Unfortunately not.

Hopefully Nasher will know.

I'll check that the throttle linkage is pulling the throttle fully open and clock it again over the next few days. Can only open her up with 2 people in it or it gets a bit lively
