Fitting new Hatches

Im about to fit some new hatches into the console of my Pro open Rib but Im a bit concerned about making it weaker, can anyone give any advise on how far apart such things should be and the minimum amount of fibreglass needed for stability etc

You will find that when you cut out the hole for the hatch it will be realy flimisy, But when you bolt or screw in the hatch, the frame will reinforce it again.......
