Lots of other projects have been keeping me very busy !! so only had a bit of time to spend on the rib. Work is still continuing with the complete transformation of the hull ready for a new hull mould to be made. Today I got on with cutting off some of the old chines, they are not required for the new design so had to go !! Got the cengar out to cut through the GRP and 30 min later there were bits of the filler inside the chine flying all over the workshop as I found the quickest way to deal with it was using a hammer and chisel !! The other pic shows the new shape of the bow, chines, side rails, planing pad etc etc all just the basic shape so far with still lots of finishing work to be done yet.
