First RIB experience

Channel Watch took me out for a ride on their Ribcraft Mitigator this morning, and WOW. I am completely sold on a RIB. When you open the throttle it puts you back in the seat. It was a really calm day so it was a smooth ride. There was a little bump part of the time, so we were able to get a little air. The ride was incredibly dry.

Ha Ha,

Hooked well and truly I would say.

Thing is you don't need a big RIB to have fun. Small RIBs with a decent engine on the back are good too. And its probably where a RIB excels compared to many (Read ANY) other types of boats

Now see what you guys have done with all your talk about RIBs. There goes all his savings. I also invited him back on a rougher day to really experience the difference on a RIB.

I always thought size mattered but I did tell him in this case smaller would do just fine.

Good for you - RIBs are pretty average on a nice day - it takes some waves to bring them to life!!!
