hi,

the e tecs like to run high so its good that you can see CV plat at WOT, falcons are not easy to drive you have to be on trimm all the time what makes it little shit to ride .

do you have this going up and down like a dolphin at calm see?

with RPM do you reach max. with this set up?

about the low engine you have to throtle down slower so that your transom wave does not swop over the etec , or give a little throttle jap when the transom wave reachs you.

are you in athens?

have a look in here there is a big falcon bolg about manos an there you see how to trimm this tuna.

regards max

4900rpm max!

i now how to slow down smoothly but its annoying and i worry seeing the engine so close to the water!

i have already found manos from your forum and i wait for him to see it!

jasu,

i would not lower the engien if you can just reach 4900 rpms.
trie a 19 inch viper ,i also use on my 175 etec and this props they fitt on this compo.
did you ever try to trimm the etec total out in calm see in the fine trimm,to reach more RPM , if yes did the prop got air?
in turns you have to trim down that the prop does not get air and to seed out off turns is allmost impossible with this hull.
you have to get your RPM up because this is not good for your etec.

send me an mail max.sammer@yahoo.de because it could be that i will be in athens next weeks.

dont trust falcon manos in athens to mutch.

max

if the props don't work use a jack plate instead of transom cutting

Stu, do you have a name or link for any jack plates that lower the motor?
