Extremely confused

Hi, Im almost through my first tank of gas on my 2 stroke 25:1 oil ratio. I want to do a big trip tomorrow but i am almost out of gas. And arent I supposed to wait until all this 25:1 oil has been burned? Is it alrite to fill up the tank with 50:1 ratio now and mix it with the existing 25:1?
Because I dont wanna have to carry a jerry can and mix in the middle of the water if you know what i mean? Ive been very confused about this

So you've only used 3/4 of the first tank used at 25:1 and want to fill up with 50:1?

I reckon you'll be OK.

with a quarter tank of 25:1 and the rest at 50:1 you'll have something like a 40-45:1 mix, if you aren't worried about fouled plugs. Go for it!!

Have a safe trip.

im still breaking the motor in so a 40-45:1 oil ration should be fine right? This should be better for the plugs than 25:1 i reckon. Am I correct?

Yeh, the higher the ratio the less oil is in the fuel and so will foul you plugs less.
