exports

I am selling a old outboard on eBay and sold another one last year. I had a lot of interest from some Asian guy's who where not boaters. Never met them so didn't get a chance to ask what they were doing with them . someone suggested they may be exporting them.as anyone ever heard of this being done?

It's possible, but I would be very wary as there's a very good chance that it will be some kind of scam.

We have some regular buyers from Leicester and Essex who export, usually to Africa though. They only buy Yamaha outboards under 50hp.
