My very limited experience of cabins was on a Princess 67 we took from Plymouth to Finland last year. Whilst i was delighted to have a nice cabin to sit in whislt crashing through a f6 head sea in the baltic, i was very pleased to get back to my boat and be exposed to the elements!!

guess it depends what you are after. i looked at a really nice Sessa Sportfisher Key Largo 25 at the boat show and if i had a spare 55k i would have one.

i know there was some talk about that new Scorp cabin rib and its looks but i really like it but then i really fancy a rayglass protector as well so maybe my views dont count!!

Forget it. The noise of the rain will make you go mad, and you must stow everything securely. The only reason I have a cabin is not to get wet all the time. You would be better off pitching a small tent on the rib, afterall a rib is ment to be exciting not a 5* hotel on water.

It depends on the quality of the cabin. Not if it's built correctly and properly insulated it won't.

And you don't do that in an open boat?

Hey Nick, I am with you....
I will take the cabin and Loo anytime.

I actually dont Know why I am buying the Rib, even tho its a beauty, none of your Agri shite, this is sleek and not designed to Climb a wall of water.

I cannot find the Rinker on the site but look at this beauty.
I wondered why I am buying a rib and then i see this
