Perfect winter day, 20 degrees but felt much colder in the shade especially with the windchill factor. Some of my guests decided to rug up. The ski goggles are to not lose contact lenses.
The DT 200 Suzuki I put on originally on this 5.6m RIB proved way too heavy. Engine just over 200kgs, boat about 140kgs. It is now on the old race boat Majic.
I splashed out on a brand new Tohatsu 90hp that has transformed the boat, it is a real pleasure to drive now as it is so well balanced. Just put 4 hours on it so I am now looking forward to going over 3000rpm.
