Did you by any chance 'mark' the position of the fridge with your gps?

This particular CFC laden beauty was in Milford Haven and was psoted as a hazzard to navigation for pleasure boat. I checked the contents and found a bottle of beer and some After Eights, a bit salty but OK.
Sorry to hear about your loss, bit a bu**er not being able to keep the beer cold on a trip.
As with all things in life,it's nice to have some humor.
Has anyone else had a near miss ( if there is such a thing) of a strange nature. I have good story about a rubber glove on a spring tide and a dead cat on a pontoon.

Sorry Both sailing experiances!!

While on a sailing passage on the East coast @ Flamborough Head we did have to come about quickly after I spotted what looked like a divers head looking very still on the surface, in a 6knot tide. After we came about and looked a little closer it was actually a crab pott buoy with a divers mask on - f**king fisherman. I was so popular !!!!!!!

The other time that s**t me right up was another sailing trip, this time a night passage just in to the aproach for Dartmouth (about 4am, gusting 5-6). I was on bow look out when in front of me a rowing boat poped. Hard to starboard I shouted. We came about to see if everything was OK. This old boy shout in a local accent. I jus doin a bi of night fotography uright.

A light would of been nice!!!! mad old boy

Hi there

'Near Miss!'

If you nearly miss something you HIT it.

If you nearly hit something then you miss it.

I've always wondered why this anomaly gets used all the time to do with aircraft.

Cheers
