Ebay Cutefleur69 aka Rupert bonham-smith

This is a warning for anyone who is thinking of or has bought something of the ebay seller cutefleur69. He was selling outboards and other naval stuff. I know that he is based in Hamshire.

If you have bought anything from the seller and havn't recieved it contact ebay or paypal immediatly. The seller doesn't have the items advertised. Some people have obviously recieved small items such as navy shoulder boards.

I bought an outboard, mariner 25, the seller said he shipped it with a small currier but i never resieved the engine , he insisted I pay through paypal and he would ship it. (He sounded genuine). He came up with several stories, one was that parcel force had lost the engine.

I made a claim through paypal and they couldn't contact him, so they recovered about 10% of my money.

Paypal and ebay are now investigating and I've been in touch with other ebay members who have involved the police. If anyone knows where this guy is or who he is please let me know!!

This ruined our small diveclubs boating, we lost 800£
. I should not have sent payment and risked my 100% feedback!!!

I know that the guy's name is Rupert bonham-smith and he is living in Hamshire
I know that he has a compagny called The London Offshore Club and Atlantic web
Does enyone know this guy???
Can enyone please help me what to do?

I payed for the engine for 6 month ago and i still haven't reseived anything and the seller always claim that he will ship it next week.

AND GUYS... DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS GUY

Looking at his website I guess these are his numbers.

Is he saying he has not sent the engine yet?

I have just read some of the old posts about this guy and he comes across as an unpleasant person.

Good Luck!!

Great Dane,

If you like I would be happy to call this guy on your behalf and ask him what has happened to the engine and if he has shipped it where the documents are.

'I have just read some of the old posts about this guy and he comes across as an unpleasant person'.

Unpleasant! Thanks for this great character analysis. Clearly you have never met the charming and upright member of the rib community.

I am currently about to send Jorgen a replacement. Basically the hold up has been with paypal which operates like a Nigerian Bank. They have put my account into negative balance but not refunded Jorgen in full.

Anyway as if I would be 'ripping off' our international friends from rib.net! Jorgen your engine will be going off with UPS insured for 1k as of Monday.
Apologies for the delay!

You should have seen what I had written before JK moderated it.

I have read all the emails that you have sent to Jorgen and I think its fair to say you are not honest and are not to be trusted.

The proof is in the pudding when Jorgen receives the engine he will, I am sure, update this thread.

A six month delay and he is blaming Paypal? Guy is a discrace to his well boasted heritage. If I was him I would be leaving the Country.

What well boasted heritage? I havnt boasted anything on this. Its all you boffins digging it up through search engines etc. As for 6 months - that is paypal for you and that is why the company has been on BBC Watchdog for 6 months. As for leaving the country I'm just sorting out my right to reside in the channel islands. Im looking forward to enjoying the benefits of the tax free lifestyle!
