East Coast Rivers

Not posted a report cos we're still sulking that you got all the good weather at Anglesey

Sat F4-5 N/E, Sun F6-7 N/E!!! Monday was nice tho. F3-4 and Sunny. Five RIBS Sat & Sun. Sat we set off for Southwold but after half an hour out of Felixstowe decided that discretion was the better part of valour and went exploring the Walton Backwaters instead. In the afternoon up the Stour to Mistley Quay for a cuppa. Sunday was even blowier so 3 RIBS went for a play in the big seas off Harwich. (Fun for an hour but you wouldn't want to HAVE to be out in it if you get my drift!) then up the Orwell to Ipswich. Monday was a good day. Sunny, gentle breeze and a 25 mile run to Brightlingsea for lunch before returning and recovering boats.

Much eating and drinking took place & a good time was had by all weather notwithstanding. We just agreed that next year we do it somewhere else...................like the Costa Brava!!

No piccies I'm afraid. Dropped me digital camera the weekend before

Cheers,
Alan
