EASDALE HARBOUR - Seasonal moorings available

Easdale Harbour (just south of Oban and focus of the Easdale RIB Rendezvous) is a community owned harbour. It is one of the most sheltered harbours on the west coast of Scotland. Harbour owners - Eilean Eisdeal Trust have seasonal berths available for 2014 and would be grateful for local boat owners to spread the word of availability around the boating community. Moorings are available to any boat up to around 8.5m but the harbour does dry at LW Springs so need to be able to take to the ground (soft mud)

Boats welcome for day visits, overnight, weekly etc. Please get in touch.

Easdale is 16 miles south of Oban, West Coast of Scotland

Great start point for both day trips and longer expeditions. The location is also great for diving. There is a pub on the island - Puffer Bar and a pub on the mainland 200m away (Oyster Bar) Both welcome 'wet' boaters

Travel time from Glasgow about 2.5 hours, Edinburgh 3 hours.

Easdale Harbour

From our regular experience its a good base for the boat. A sheltered safe harbour. Friendly local, 2 pubs and help and assistance on hand if something goes wrong or needs fixing. Most importantly, lots of places to visit in all directions and all weathers . Worth a try if not visited before.
