They seem to have closed the ebay shop but are still going
Ducks Back | Protective Outdoor Products | Boat Covers UK
I recently bought a new cover off them.

I've been looking at that outboard cover. Is it any good?

It says up to 10hp but is that a 2-stroke or will it fit my Mariner 9.9 4-stroke - assuming I can still get one.

I can't see the boat covers listed on their site, only a size calculator.

Am I missing something?

Cheers

Oh dear, i ordered 2 10hp covers earlier today. Site worked ok for these, processed my payment and sent me a receipt. Hopefully it will be ok but i wish i'd logged on here earlier. I'll write an update next week as to whether i receive them or not.

Covers arrived today. It looks like there's a problem with their website which they weren't aware of. Apparently they have large size covers etc. available which contradicts the website.

Their email address is : therandomco@gmail.com if anybody has any questions.

Thanks very much ppenman, will get in touch with them. Glad your covers arrived safely.

Do you recon that they would fit a 10hp 4-stroke or just 2-stroke?

It looks pretty big to me. It's useful looks to be around 40x30x105 cm

I've attached a couple of piccies (or to be more precise I've tried to attach a few) with an inchtape set at 1m alongside. It may give you a better idea. It's more of a big bag than a cover.

Peter.

Thanks for that but those dimensions (40cm) wouldn't even accommodate the cowl of my 9.9. Looks about 61cm in the pictures by proportions.

I need 62cm when the tiller is folded down, ie as per image. Too close a call for my liking.

On the image, the vertical measurement is approx 105cm and the horizontal approx 62cm. Do you think the bag will be too small for this engine? The ad recons that it will fit engines up to 46" (115cm) tall.

Hi
I think you maybe looking at the old website (covers and bags we have instructed the person who holds the domain to remove this link....obviously this has not been done). The new website is Ducks Back | Protective Outdoor Products | Boat Covers UK, however, the boat covers are not available yet, it will be a few weeks before they arrive from the supplier. As soon as they arrive we will list them up in the webshop.
Regards, Julie
