Dream rib

If you could design the ideal ( and not one with a cloaking device and/or wings ), whose hull, which tubes, what engine/s (2T or four) , length, seating would it have? Oh, colour too.
And I'm thinking of a "One boat only" situation so no "depends what it's for" stuff.
Here's my wish list:
5.4m SR with slightly deeper V with twin 75 2T OPTI's and 3 man individually sprung in-line jockey with bow seat which has a fridge underneath and with orange hull & deck with grey Hypalon tubes, 150 liter under (non flooding) deck fuel tank with extra fuel bladders running the length of the tubes either side, Humminbird sounders and ICOM VHF and a 6HP 2T Mariner wing and a Plastimo solar lit compass and footstraps either side of jockey. And black fenders and a low carbon A-frame for a Lowrance. And a Bruce and a Danforth in a bow locker lined with HD foam.
I should have put that order in before the 25th.

Ok 1 boat only.
A nice 10mtr Rib with loads of seats with twin Merc 300's all black.
all the toys.

more electronics than the bridge of the enterprise.
and somewhere to take people out on it. say gozo or malta.

warm ( ish) all year round.

:-)

Fair play, you've got on it early today.

I will put all these together and put a list of most mentioned items etc. in order of popularity and our dream RIB will start taking shape.

Twin engined 5.4 with grey tubes and sprung seats with ICOM VHF, underfloor fuel and fore fridge currently.

Mine would have to be based on the Redbay Stormforce 7.4m deep V hull. It would have black 560mm amour reinforced tubes and be powered by two Yam F115 outboards.
Two Scotseat suspension seats would be a must and a full Lowrance HDS- 10M Chartplotter/Broadband Radar/Fish Finder electronics package would be lovely. Comm’s would be via an Icom m411 VHF radio and a Fusion iPod Marine Stereo unit would finish that off nicely.
A full S/S steel (polished not black) A-frame with a roll bag (what’s good for the goose is good for the gander!), twin HD Glomex antenna’s and the radar dome on top of a Scanstrut mounting - finished off with an Echomax EM 305PE radar reflector.
Twin 160 litre under floor fuel tanks, twin batteries with “switch over” switch, hydraulic steering with emergency tiller and deck mounting points would finish it off.
Now where have I seen one like this before?

Not sure, but it'd be 12m long and powered by a pair of marinised Duramax's on surface drives, and a big enough cabin I wouldn't have to go ashore for a week.

Just the right length for the artic with a crane on to trailer it about

Nos4r2, don't think big.......SD's are cool, and imagine them on a 5m, would you tow your 12m?

Goldfish 29 tender. Don't even ask about the price. Fantastic lines, built to perfection. If you're taking the wife - then you'll need the Porta Potti, it's only €339... now that's taking the ****!
THE HORIZON CHASER - 29 RIB Tender - Goldfish Boat :: The ultimate tool on water

If you want a hard-boat, dirty word I know, then the 50 Ocean would be a possible contender. Reminds me of the lines of the MTBs from WW2 minus the torpedo tubes!
