Double sided flush muffs

My flush muffs are now leaking more water than is going up to the engine which was evident when the temp alarm started sounding yesterday at tickover.

So where can I get those proffesional type of flush muffs that have a water inlet from the hose on both sides?

If your muffs are leaking because of ears rubber failure/deteroration, change them, if not, perform this modification, betters the problem very well.. Double sided muffs will leak as well...

Yes, is leaking because of splits in the cushion, but has been OK like that for months. Just doesn't want to push water up the leg this weekend, but engine ran OK yesterday with good water pressure, so have to assume the muffs are U/S

These twp piece designs aren't really for me as I'll lose the little retaining clip that anchors to two halfs together.

Don't think Loco was suggesting you buy the two piece muffs... if you look at the last post on that thread he suggests a possible fix for your old ones. That said if you have splits in the rubber cups then it probably is best you invest in a new set

Good idea though as I have the double sided muffs and when I used them yesterday I had to manually push them together to get water up the leg, think I'll try the strap method
