coming to the crunch on the thirteenth...

Not very auspicious to be calling it Victory Blue or Victoire Bleue on the day that's in it

I name this Ship..........Solent Viper

Ok, after much deliberation and family consoltations, early fireworks, and impending divorce.

We have decided to call my new RIB "Solent Viper"!

I have never had so much trouble, ever! Lost sleep (when the Missus kicked me outta bed) Kids screaming at me! Even my Dad who's a very diplomatic man, had to make his emotions felt

Anyway Job done, and ready to set sail tomorrow with new name

Thanks everyone with your suggestions, some were really funny and had me in stitches (they're the ones that lit the fuse to the fireworks ).

Thanks Nasher for the name suggestion (I'll purchase the copyright at the Church), it was one of my Favorites from the start actually.

I have drawn up a rough Idea of how I want the name displayed on the RIB, will consult Nauti when he returns from holiday on the final design.

Thanks All!

I am looking or a good name for my forthcoming RIB which also happens to be Blue tubed. I did like Blue Job but it is a bit risque when calling the CG. My top preferred name is already used by another member so still looking.
Since I live in Oban I have considered Lorne ranger with the tender called Tonto but the wife vetoed that.
It is the most difficult choice to make or any single part, been wracking my brains for days to come up with something relevant, clear and easy to understand on the VHF and clever with little success so far as many have been thought up and rejected for one reason or tother........

I know this is an old post but I am also now in the process of naming my RIB.

Being a boat by BWA with mustard (biscuit), grey and white colours and being a 'RIB' I was thinking of calling it 'Honey Glazed' as in Honey Glazed RIB.

Corny or cool?

Thanks
