Doel fins -what a difference

Fitted a pair of Doel Fins to the Blue Kangaroo on Saturday - took her out yesterday -what a difference! Now very responsive & smooth, stepped straight on the plane from displacement speed & very easy to adjust power & speed. Did 26 knots with no effort and I think she'll do more. I can't believe what a difference they have made.

Many thanks to Blackroady & all others who suggested this very simple solution to the weight / handling problem.

Have to say I agree, fitted them to a binliner a couple of years ago and noticed the difference immediatly. Biggest change for me was how much more "grip" the stern seemed to have. Felt more planted if that makes sense. Probably impacted fuel consumption but not so much as I ever took them off.

Glad it made the same differance for you as it did for me - a much easier to handle & less twitchy boat . Hope you get more use out of the boat this summer !
