Dartmouth - Suggestions

Hello all.

I'm in Dartmouth all next week with the kids and some friends camping just outside the town on our usual annual pilgrimage.

Usualy we launch the boats at the upper ferry slip then sombody takes the trailers back to the campsite then meets us at the beach.

We're a bit short of bodies this year, so I'm looking for suggestions on my two options.

1) Take a mooring, however these are on a first come basis every day so I could end up without one, and I still need to park the car all day. Plus not sure about security.

2) find somewhere to park the car and trailer for the day, which I know is a nightmare in Dartmouth.

Any local knowledge would be appreciated.

Thanks

Nasher.

Could go just up the coast to Brixham, good slip, multi storey for car and trailer and only 10-15mins cruise from Dartmouth.
