Thanks codders.

I started in late January and the first job I tackled were the trailer brakes which were completely shagged. I think it was at midnight in a freezing cold barn when I realised that perhaps I should have started on something less knuckle tearingly difficult.

Although I think the worst jobs are any that involve drilling large holes in transoms or decks. Definately a case of measure three times then cut!

More Pics of Oscar and Percy... lifejackets all round!!

Dogs are wonderful creatures. Do you take him/her on the RIB ?

He/She looks so innocent there without a clue what its like to be on a RIB.

Tim, let me know when you have a Friday trip out planned I will be there. We might even get Johnwin along as well if he can stop "polishing his tube" for a couple of hours

I am always reading how the 'Solent Ribsters' have such a great time (although most of it seems to be spent in the pub) so I think its about time us Bristol Guys give them a demo of how its done West country style

He does have a pretty good clue by now and normally spends most of the trip wedged in between my leg and the console.

Hes a pretty calm dog although I might have to gaffer tape mittens to his paws if he scratches my tubes with his claws again ;-)

Is that:-
Drink scrumpy
Fall over,
Run aground on mudbank in the Severn,
sink in mud,
catch communicable disease from said mud
Drink more scrumpy,
Listen to Wurzels CD at full volume (they are from Pill...)
Fall over again
Repeat in random order

Actually, it's not far off a Solent do and if you substitute sodding great spiky rocks for mudbanks the Cornish ribsters would feel at home too...

yes the other one is about £7 and is the one that i usually use although it is a little more difficult, and sometimes the small sail boats clog the slipway on weekends. The pub is nice to sit outside and have a pint after being on the water and the food is good , cheers, Tim.
