I have just been posted to a new ship in Glasgow, however the ship is not finished yet so we are living in a hotel...
The trouble is there is not a lot to do up here and my boat is at home. Is there anyone in the Glasgow area who has a RIB who would like some company to go cruising? I have posted before on this site many times, I have RIB qualifications and many others as a commercial ship Officer Of the Watch so am all qualified up just waiting to find a boat to go on...or does anyone know if you can hire RIBS in Scotland fairly near to Glasgow.

There is a very good Marina at Inverkip.
This is about 20m from Glasgow airport, on the coast.
There are also two very good hotels nearby, The Inverkip Hotel and The Heywood Arms (or Hotel, I forget).
They are agents for Revenger boats and have several others for sale.
You might try talking to the Marina office Manager.............and see how far your luck/blarney will take you.
