On the subject of the fleet review, does anyone actually know where you can get the "official" flags they keep mentioning? I've been through all the websites, with no luck...

Jimbo, all the 'boaty' websites I've looked at suggest they can be bought by going to the 'Gifts & Souvenirs' section of www.trafalgar200.com but at the moment all that you are able to do is register your interest in purchasing items. I guess they're not accepting orders yet!

That's pretty much the same story I've got.

There's no phone number or actual e-mail address on the T200 website, and I really can't be bothered to post them a letter asking when I can buy a flag!!

Copied the following from the visiting yachts info leaflet, it has a phone number to order a flag.

"Fly the Flag!
Visiting craft are encouraged to fly the

Trafalgar 200 flag (18” x 24”), of the

same design that will be flown by

warships, tall ships and merchant ships in

the Review. The flag, which is good

quality, costs £8

including VAT,

postage &

packing (within

the UK) and is

available by

following the

link from gifts and

souvenirs via the website:

www.trafalgar200.com.

For those without internet access, orders

can be placed by phone: 01620 861734 or

by letter to: Magellan Flags, Houston

Mill, East Linton, Scotland, EH40 3DG."

Flipping typical

Decided I would be organised and ring Port Solent to check on my booking and it appears that there is no record . And now it seems all the marina are full, or have'nt started taking bookings yet and "can you phone back in 10 days or so.

Quite pleased I am in at East Cowes now as it is closer to the action and I won't have to get up as early
