Credit where its due

I have had a Typhoon surface drysuit for about 2 years now.

Never used it much in the 4.8 but have used it a lot in the 7.8.

However i was finding i always got wet , very wet sometimes.

Well the suit was 2 years old, no receipt, shop shut down where i bought it so though it was new drysuit time.
Was not impressed and was not going to buy Typhoon again.

Denise (wife) suggested i drop Typhoon a e-mail, which I did without much hope other than a possible big bill.

Anyway day after sending e-mail got a call from Typhoon, lots of questions and almost a telling of for not contacting them sooner and they said send off the suit to them.

Sent if off and two days later got another call saying the suit was faulty and they will send me another FOC. In fact as the one I had was not made now they would send me a better one.

Well this was a very nice supprise. I accept that anyone can make a faulty product but what sets companies apart is they way they deal with you when you get the faulty one.

For this Typhoon get 110%, their service went above what I expected, was prompt and very good.

This has restored my faith in Typhoon and I would buy Typhoon again and would reccomed them based on the service received.

Regards Gary

PS Im nothing to do with Typhoon, just belive in praise where service warrants it.

I have an account with typhoon through the shop, and the service has always been excellent - use all the time, and no complaints -- good to hear from others that this is still the case.
