I'm just going to resin the ply. Sharp edges will cut through vinyl and the holes are to let the air out. If you don't have the hole and you jump on the cushion it can split the stitching. Effectively pop. That's it for this week

You're right about glass and rounded corners. Nothing as bad as seeing glass with voids in it

I've been ask if they are dry mat where it looks white, I'm insulted, it's bonding paste we put that in to soften the sharp corners and put the mat in while it's still wet, no voids or air bubbles in them babies

Brilliant looking work! What type of bonding paste are You using, will it be totally hard/rigid when cured or semi flexible?

The paste has chop strands in it, it's a bugger to use, it's fairly flexible and has more or less the same characteristics as Gell

RIBase
I hesitate to ask this question and am reaching for my tin hat whilst typing but I'd have thought there would have been drain holes in each of those bulkheads?

No worries, it's a lot easier drilling them out after than trying to matt round a hole, I'm probably not going to put one in the anchor locker bulkhead might put it on the outside
