Cowes Week

I know the hot issue is SOC send off at the minute, but does any one know when Cowes Week is?

Anyone got any plans to go?

Regards

Jono

I intend to be there for Cowes week - are you trying to get up a mini-RIBnet rally?

Dont hink there is anything organisd through BIBOA - their events diary says:

3 / 4th Wales Cruise

9 / 10th - Poole Race

I have just joined BIBOA too - and it would be great to meet up with some people from BIBOA or RIB Net at Cowes.

I know the place is usually swarming with RIBs - would be nice to be part of an organised group of friends.

But of course they are - in fact they are almost compulsory!!!

If you need a RIB to crew just let me know - any one who has ever been there will know operating single handed in such a busy area is no fun - having a crew member onboard helps no end.

I agree there is only one rule with these groupies.

They have to make sure me and my RIB get home safely when i'v had a few to many......

Any plans for accomodation? UKSA have some rooms with jetties out side. Just opposite the RNLI RIB factory - has anyone been to the the RNLI RIB factory? Its Great.

Sounds like a good deal to me - I am an excellent lock out and will keep my eyes posted on this thread.

Marked in Pen in my diary (and that is saying something)

Batfalcon: a groupie is someone who is interested in something or someone and wants to know more about it/them
Like me: I like RIb's, want to know more about them and go on them, but have not got my own, yet.

I know the constant deviation of the topics does confuse things.

Allen C: To answer your question.
You know women are multi-tasked. You will have to come to Cardiff to find out.
