Cowes Torquay Sunday 1st September

Thinking about watching the return leg Torquay to Cowes somewhere between Yarmouth and Cowes on Sunday. I've seen the NTM 28T but wonder if any of you have good knowledge of where to watch close up but safely out of the way?
