Cost of RYA courses

WOW just seen a thread on here for a PB2 course £340!

When I did my RYA rescue cox it was £50 and used my own boat.
my Bro did his PB1 & 2 for about £70!!

Does anyone do a BSAC to PB1 & 2 corss over course. just need the tickets. :-)

You can do a one day assessment for the PB2, but I would highly recommend doing the whole course as if you chose the instructor carefully you will still learn lots more.

I did a Powerboat Level 1/2 course with Tazmarine on the (tidal) Thames, I would highly recommend them, I think it cost £270 per person.

all certificates are equal but some courses/instructors are far more equal than others
& no-not looking for business-far too busy skippering fast commercial boats--aah bliss!
