Cool box as a front seat.

I'm looking at putting an igloo cool box or something similar in front of the consul to use as a front seat (suicide seat) and then getting a cushion made for the lid and sitting it on fixing brackets so it can be removed as and when required. Has anyone on here done this ? or got any pics of something similar. I've tried searching for any old threads on here but can't find anything.

Cheers,

Steve.

Icey Tec

Buy an icey-tek instead, they come in pretty much any size and have decent cushions to measure as accessories.

As a cool box with the Aussie gel packs they are superb. Loads of commercial guys use them rigorously.

Igloo (and others) sell cushions for their ice chests. In Igloo's case, the cushion snaps on via the male snaps on the lid.

Thanks for your reply's guys., the icey tek ones look a bit pricey , but the igloo models are a bit more within my price range I like your set up Nick, I can't make out the make on your pic but it looks ideal to me and the right colour too. did you have the cushion made or did it come with it ?
