I think the optimax dials give you a fuel reading will have to check

I built my console first too. It was easier to cut all the holes and mount everything inside under cover and then take the whole console out and sikafix/screw it onto the boat.

Steve, I like the thing that I don't know the name for... little storage shelf (assume that you'll have a front to it like Nick's) 'cos that would be dead handy on ours. Might be an idea to get a couple of neat stainless steel rings/hoops fixed just above it to give a lanyard attachment point so stuff doesn't fly out.

Look forward to seeing it for real!

The Optimax guages will even give you fuel readings to the next waypoint if you have a GPS wired up to it! (I'm not an exspurt - I've read the manual!)

Here's my console

Also built at Bembridge Outboards

I like to have the chartplotter directly infront - so that I can see whats happening!!. If its in the passenger position then you have to start relying on the passenger - if you have one!!

I would have had mine a little higher - sometimes its a little near the wheel

Apart from that the setup works well.
