Considering putting RIB on mooring

I'm thinking about keeping my RIB on a mooring. At the mo I have it on a trailer at home, and as such don't use it as much as I would if it was on a mooring. It spent last week on a pontoon in Lymington, and it just made me think; it's so easy being able to walk down and go rather than having to take it to the slipway, launch etc etc. The slips round here are pretty poor which means I have to drive for about an hour to a desent one.

Moorings are cheap around here so the cost isn't really an issue. I'm mainly worried about deterioration of the boat. Odvoiusy I'd have to antifoul the hull but apart from that is there anything else I should consider?

Why obviously, with regard to the anti-foul? Mine isn't, it's in the water 24/7.. It takes roughly 2 hrs to clean once in awhile.. The best thing about that, it gives me an excuse to beach the rib, spend a short time cleaning it, and the rest of the time is spent till high tide with a great group of peeps..

I've always been under the impression that not anit-fouling is suicide....
