The trouble about concepts is that they tend to be expensive and usually point nowhere. As RIB builders we have to be guided by what the market wants, and what the market decides it can afford (not a lot at the moment!). Differentiation between manufacturers is usually not as much as they'd have you believe, and a genuinely "new" design is an incredibly expensive rarity.

Having said that, we, (probably in common with most other builders????), are more than happy to talk to our customers and potential customers at any time to find out what people like / dislike / need in their boats. Of course, by definition we're talking about new boats here, which immediately discounts about 75% of the market.

Concepts? Innovation? Design? All great stuff if someone's going to pay for it!

Fair point you have .
I can see if you made a concept rib it would either be just a showpiece or an expensive one off.

Concepts will only be viable if the whole industry adopts the same idea.

Then I guess it would then be called innovative opposed to concept.

if anyone has any designs on the table id be interested in their feedback.

Producing more and more new ribs the same as every other one seems a thankless task, evolving an existing model is different, but creating more the same in a lean market
